Weaknesses:  SOUL EDGE -Chronicles of the Sword mode could have used some work, no storyline, gameplay can get repetative, intrest doesn't hold.

Weaknesses:  long cutscenes
Review:  this game has a great fighting system, the only bad thing is you have to sit through 1 hour cutscenes to paly them. You watch this game more than you play it. The characters like KOS-MOS are likable but they didn't grow on me. If you like watching games, buy this if not; a rental could suffice you.

Strengths:  Great graphics
Weaknesses:  Weak control
Review:  Being a spinoff from the Tekken series, Death by Degrees features the heroine Nina William in gorgeous graphics for a PS2 game. However, the gameplay is nowhere near as good as the Tekken series, and the combat system control sucks big time. I'm rather disappointed by the game. The only saving grace is the graphics.

Strengths:  a game for fans of the anime
Weaknesses:  boring if you never watch the anime
Review:  As a game based on the popular anime, fans would enjoy it. On its own the game is average, but for people that follow the anime is would be worth playing to see his or her favorite character in action. However if you are not familar with the anime the game will be very hard to get into. Also this is volume 1, so you need to get volume 2 later on.
